Panko Baked Fish image

I like to cut down on calories and I like the taste of fried Fish so I started baking my fish in a Panko and selfrising mixture and it just great and easy to.

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 large slices of swai or any fish your like cut in halve
1 Tbsp lemon pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 c panko bread crumbs
1/2 c self rising flour
1/2 c olive oil, extra virgin

Steps:

  • 1. Peheat oven to 350degree. One cookie sheet pan, sprayed with nonstick cooking.
  • 2. If large pieces of fish is used cut in half. Place pieces in a large mixing bowl. Add half the olive oil on top of the fish and sprinkle with the seasonings. Make sure that the fish is covered well with the olive oil and seasonings.
  • 3. Use tongs for this if you like. Put the flour and Panko in a large plastic bag and shake mixture together. Put 1 or 2 pieces of fish in the bag and shake well to coat each piece, shake off excess if desired.
  • 4. Place pieces of fish not touching on sprayed sheet pan. To the oil that is left in the bowl add the other half of the oil to it and add 1-tablespoon of that mixture to each piece of fish. Bake for 20to25-minutes or until slightly browned.
