Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/2 c sugar
1 c water
2 Tbsp lemon juice
3/4 c orange juice, fresh
2 large oranges (just the zest)

Steps:

  • 1. Bring the water, sugar and zest to a full boil, stirring constantly let it boil for about 5 minutes. Add the lemon and orange juices. Bring back to a boil for about 5 more minutes or until the syrup is the desired consistancy. Let cool a bit (don't want to burn your mouth!) **** Serve over fry bread, waffles, pancakes or biscuits. *** This stores well in a jar in the refrigerato for about a month.
