OLD FASHIONED CORNBREAD DRESSING image

Number Of Ingredients 11

4 1/2 cup(s) cornbread crumbs
1 package(s) (16 oz.) herb stuffing mix
2 can(s) (10-3/4-oz.ea.) cream of chicken soup, undiluted
3 1/2 cup(s) low-sodium chicken broth
1 - onion, chopped
1/2 cup(s) chopped celery
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon(s) rubbed sage
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
2 tablespoon(s) butter, cut up

Steps:

  • Coat a 5-1/2- or 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl stir all ingredients together, except butter. Pour cornbread mixture into prepared slow cooker and dot with butter.
  • Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4 hours, or until cooked through and set.
