Mexican Sausage Balls - Plain Chicken image

Mexican Sausage Balls - Sausage, cream cheese, green chiles, taco seasoning, and cheese. Can make in advance and refrigerate or freeze for later.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (16-oz) package hot pork sausage
1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, (softened)
1½ cups Bisquick
1 (1-oz) package taco seasoning
1 (4-oz) can diced green chiles, (undrained)
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • Mix all ingredients until well combined. (I use my KitchenAid mixer with the dough hook attachment) Roll into 1-inch balls.
  • Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until brown.
  • Sausage balls may be frozen uncooked. If baking frozen, add a few minutes to the baking time.
