Steps:
- Bring sauce pan of water to boil. Cut the stems off the sprouts and discard, then cut the sprouts in half. Cook for 2 minutes;drain. Rinse well with cold water. In heavy nonstick pan state the shallots 2-3 minutes. Add the boiled sprouts and sauté for 4 more minutes. Whisk together the syrup, dijon,tamari, and arrowroot powder in small bowl. Pour the mixture over the sprouts and cook for 2 minutes til sauce thickens. Garnish with pepper or nuts if desired.
