Steps:
- For the crust: Cream butter and sugar together. Add salt and flour gradually. Mix well. Press into an 8 x 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes (Crust will not be brown). Top layer: Combine all ingredients and pour over hot crust as soon as you remove it from the oven. Reurn to oven and bake another 20-25 minutes until the top layer is set. Run a knife around the edges of the pan when you take it out of the oven as they are sometimes hard to cut. When cool, sprinkle with more confectioner's sugar and cut into squares. You can double this recipe and put it in a 9 by 13 pan .
