Steps:
- 1.Use a 6-quart slow cooker.
- 2.Place the chicken into the insert, breast side down.
- 3.In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.
- 4.Rub this spice blend evenly all over the bird, inside and out.
- 5.Do not add liquid.
- 6.Cover, and cook on high for 4 hours or on LOW for 6-7 hours.
- 7.Retain the pan drippings to make rice or mashed potatoes.
- 8.Check the temperature w/ a meat thermometer to ensure chicken has reached an internal temp of at least 165 before serving.
