Italian Steak image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 eggs
2 cups bread crumbs
1/2 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated
2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
2 tablespoons parsley
salt and pepper to taste
2 (12.25-ounce) packages sandwich steaks (like Steak-umm), cut in serving pieces
hot oil (2 tablespoons or more)

Steps:

  • Beat eggs in flat dish. In a separate container, combine the bread crumbs, cheese, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Dip meat in eggs and then in bread crumb mixture. Fry in hot oil until brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Don't overcook. Drain steaks on paper towels. Serve hot with pasta or cold in a sandwich.
