Steps:
- 1. Add the chuck roast, french onion soup, dry italian dressing packet, pepperoncinis (including juice) and Italian seasoning to the crockpot.
- 2. Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8-9 hours. Shred the beef discarding any fat, gristle and cartilage.
- 3. Toast the buns in a toaster or under the broiler. Add the cheeses to both sides of the bun and place under the broiler on low until melted.
- 4. Top with shredded beef and cooked pepperoncinis If desired serve with small bowls of au jus on the side for dipping.
