My neighbor suggested I try this tasty recipe. It is from her aunt in Ireland. Quick and easy, with a different mint taste twist. Makes a wonderful side dish. I never would have thought to cook peas this way, when we had a farm and canned peas by the bushel!! Oh! them day gone by....when both boys would help me shell our home...

- 1. Shell the fresh pea pods.
- 2. Cook peas, with mint and sugar in the boiling water, until peas are tender. 5-7 minutes.
