Irish Mist Salad Dressing image

This slightly sweet salad dressing has a hint of Irish Mist liqueur in it and is delicious on a spinach or fruit salad. From a June 1986 issue of Bon Appetit in the R.S.V.P. section. It was requested from Sean Patrick's Pub in Hartford, Connecticut.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup Irish Mist liqueur
3 teaspoons red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons honey
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
salt and white pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Whisk mustard, liqueur, vinegar and honey in small bowl.
  • Whisk in oil in thin stream.
  • Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  • Refrigerate in airtight container.
