ICE BOX CAKE image

Yield 8-10 people

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 boxes (3 ounce size) chocolate pudding (NOT instant) *
2 boxes (3 ounce size)vanilla pudding (NOT instant)
8 cups whole milk *
1 box (15 ounce size) plain graham crackers
4 ripe bananas sliced approx 1/2 inch thick (more if desired)
cool whip

Steps:

  • Prepare the pudding according to the directions on the box. Place a layer of graham crackers on bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish. Place a layer of sliced banannas on top. Pour 2 boxes of cooked pudding and banannas. Place another layer of graham crackers and banannas on top of pudding. Top with cooked pudding. Crush 5 or 6 graham crackers and spread across top of pudding. When cool cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator. To serve cut in squares and top with cool whip.
