Hash brown Casserole-Annette's image

Easter dinner is not complete without these taters on the table. The pair well with ham. They are thick, rich and cheesy. You can use plain cubed hash brown potatoes but I love to use the O'Brien potatoes with onions and peppers. Recipe is from my mama and the picture is mine.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lb o'brien potatoes (cubed hash browns with onions and peppers)
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
1 can(s) cream of potato soup
12 oz sour cream
3 c cheddar or colby jack cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp onion, chopped (if using regular cubed hash browns)
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Spray 9x13 or casserole with Pam.
  • 2. Mix all ingredient minus 2 cups of cheese. Pour into pan. Top with remaining 2 cups cheese.
  • 3. Bake for 1 1/2 hours until cheese is golden brown. Enjoy!
