GRANDMA'S CHICKEN CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 cups diced chicken meat
1 bag noodles
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Chicken meat can be from boiled whole chicken, leftover grilled chicken cut into cubes, pre-packaged chicken breasts -- whatever Noodles can be traditional egg noodles, pasta noodles (rotini, etc) or homemade -- whatever Boil the noodles, drain and put into mixing bowl. Add chicken. Add the undiluted can of soup and the grated cheese. Mix carefully (don't break all the noodles) At this point, it may be necessary to add some milk -- the mixture should be moist but not sloppy. This will depend on how much cheese is added and if the chicken was dry. Pour into casserole dish and top with some more grated cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45 mins or so. (Uncover for the remaining 10 minutes for a crustier top.)
