Eastern NC Slaw Recipe - (4.9/5) image

1/2 1/2 1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 1/4 1/4 cup sugar
1 1 1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 1/2 1/2 head green cabbage, grated
1/2 1/2 1/2 cup chopped celery

Steps:

  • Whisk together all ingredients except cabbage and celery. Add cabbage and celery, toss to coat. Let stand 1 hour before serving, tossing occasionally - serve with hot sauce!
