Crustless Egg Custard image

I got this recipe from my Mother-In-Law who was a great cook. Everyone in the Family loves it and it is often requested for covered dish meals at our church dinners.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 eggs
1 stick margarine
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 c sugar
3 Tbsp self rising flour
1-12 0z can(s) evaporated milk

Steps:

  • 1. Melt margarine. Mix with flour and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add evaporated milk and flavoring.
  • 2. Pour into greased pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or till set.
  • 3. For Coconut pie... Add 1 cup coconut to ingredients. For Chocolate Pie...Add about 3-4 Tablespoons of Cocoa to flour and surgar and continue with recipe.
