Creamy Stroganoff image

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 lb stew meat
2 Tbsp flour
1 pinch salt and pepper
1 clove garlic
1 pkg brown gravy
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg sliced mushrooms
1/4 c diced onion
2 tsp cornstarch
3 tsp water
1 Tbsp olive or vegetable oil
4 oz sour cream

Steps:

  • 1. Dredge stew meat with flour, add pinch of salt and pepper. Sear for 2 minutes.
  • 2. Add beef to a casserole dish and set aside. Saute garlic, onion and mushroom in oil. Add to beef.
  • 3. Add in soup, gravy (a jar of gravy or packet with water) bake at 300 for 2 hours. Last 1/2 hour add a mixture of 2 tsp of cornstarch and 3 tsp of water to thicken. Remove from oven and mix in sour cream. Serve over egg noodles.
