HAM, SPINACH & MOSTACCIOLI CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 11

8 ounces Pasta
3 tbsps Butter
5 med Leeks, sliced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Dried thyme, crushed
1/8 tsp Pepper
1 1/2 cup Cream
1 1/2 cup Chicken broth
1 1/2 cup Cooked ham, cubed
10 ounce Frozen spinach, thawed & drained

Steps:

  • - Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees - Cook pasta, drain and rinse with cold water - In large sauce pan melt butter, add leeks and garlic - Cover & cook about 5 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally - Stir in flour, thyme and pepper - Add cream and chicken broth all at once, cook until thick and bubbly - Stir in pasta, ham and spinach - Spoon into 3 quart casserole - Cover and bake for 30-35 minutes - Let stand 5 minutes - stir gently before serving
