250 g plain all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
125 g unsalted butter, softened
250 g caster sugar (superfine)
4 ripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
175 g good-quality dark chocolate chips or 175 g milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas 4).
  • Sift the flour and baking powder.
