How to make Coconut Chai Hot Toddy

Number Of Ingredients 5

3/4 cup coconut milk (full fat from a can is best. Mix the cream and water together before pouring into the pot)
3/4 cup water
1-2 tablespoons coconut sugar (or more depending on desired sweetness)
1 chai tea bag
2 ounces dark rum

Steps:

  • Combine the coconut milk, water and coconut sugar in a small sauce pot and bring to simmer.
  • Turn off heat and place tea bag in the pot. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add rum to the sauce pot, stir to combine then pour into a mug.
  • Garnish with cinnamon or other spices.
