CHOCOLATE-PECAN BISCOTTI image

Yield 24 -30 bars

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 eggs 1 c. mini choc
1 cup sugar chips
1\4 oil 1 c.pecan half
1 t.vanilla
2.5 c flour
1tsp baking soda
pinch salt
2 tbls unsweetened cocoa pow.

Steps:

  • Set oven @ 350. Grease baking sheet. Beat eggs, sugar, oil & vanilla 2 min. On low speed mix in flour, cocoa, baking soda & salt. (I sift these dry ingred. tog. first.) Stir in chips & pecans til Nuts break up slightly. Spoon dough in 2 strips on baking sheet & flatten til about 4X12".Bake 35 min. Remove from oven and let sit 5 min. Carefully transfer strips to board & cut into 1/2" slices on the diagonal. Lay the strips cut sides up on sheet again & bake 15-20 mins. longer. When cool, store in an airtight container
