Red, White and Blue Biscuits image

Celebrate with traditional biscuits that are made with Original Bisquick® mix, red bell peppers and blue cheese - family fun for patriotic holidays or any get-together!

2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1/4 cup chopped drained roasted red bell peppers (from 7-ounce jar)
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450°. Stir all ingredients until soft dough forms.
  • Place dough on surface sprinkled with Bisquick mix; roll in Bisquick mix to coat. Shape into a ball; knead 10 times. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with 3-inch star-shaped cookie cutter dipped in Bisquick mix. Reroll dough to cut remaining biscuits. Place 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until golden brown.
