CHOCOLATE MALT PIE image

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
2 cups cold milk, divided
1/3 cup instant malted milk powder
1 package (4 serving size) chocolate flavor instant pudding & pie filling
1.5 cups frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed, divided
1 ready made Graham cracker pie crust
1/2 cup malted milk ba;;s, chopped

Steps:

  • In small saucepan sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup milk. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in malted milk powder. Cook and stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves. In a large bowl beat remaining milk and pudding mix with wore whisk for 1 minute. Whisk in gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until mixture mounds easily when spooned, stirring occasionally. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread in crust. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Garnish with remaining whipped topping and malted milk balls.
