Chocolate Almond Smoothie image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup almond milk or yogurt
3 tablespoons almond butter
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, optional
1 tablespoon honey
4 to 6 ice cubes
1 banana, cut into 1-inch pieces and frozen
1 tablespoon sliced almonds

Steps:

  • In the pitcher of a blender, add the almond milk, almond butter, chia seeds, cocoa powder if using, honey, ice cubes and banana slices, and blend until smooth. Garnish with the sliced almonds to serve.
