Steps:
- Heat the oil in a large skillet and saute garlic and onions until translucent. Remove and set aside. Turn heat to high; brown the meat in the skillet. Turn the heat down, return the onions and garlic to the skillet, add the tomatoes, beans and seasonings. Mix well. Bring to a simmer and simmer for 30 minutes. Add the bourbon, taste for seasonings, adjust if desired. Simmer 5 more minutes.
