Chili Dog

This is a quick and easy recipe perfect for picnics and is a twist on the traditional chili dogs. Garnish with chopped onion, relish, mustard and your other favorite toppings and you have the great American taste of a chili dog without the mess!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pound(s) hot dogs (or cheese dogs), sliced
1 can(s) (15 ounces) no bean chili
4 - hamburger buns
1 medium sweet onion, diced
- sweet pickle relish
- brown mustard

Steps:

  • Place a 10-inch no-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add the hot dog slices and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring often, until hot dog pieces start to brown.
  • Add the no-bean chili. Mix well and cook another 6-8 minutes or until heated through.
  • Serve over hamburger buns and garnish with diced onion, relish and mustard.
