Chili Cocoa Steak Rub image

An exciting and rich rub with a lot of layered flavors-from slightly sweet, to smoky to spicy. This rub works great with everything from fish to chicken to steak. Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 Tbsp finely ground coffee
1/2 Tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne pepepr
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp sweet paprika (can use smoked or regular as well)
1/2 tsp coarse sea salt

Steps:

  • 1. Grind all ingredients til uniform in size. Store in a jar with a good seal. Enjoy!
