Steps:
- Combine the garlic, salt and pepper in a deep bowl and mash them to a paste with the back of a spoon (or do this in a mortar & pestle and transfer to bowl). Mix in the ketjap manis and lime juice. Add the chicken and toss the pieces to coat evenly. Marinate at room temp for at least 30 minutes or in the fridge for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers and brush lightly with oil before grilling.
