Chex Chocolate Malt-Cherry Mix image

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 cup(s) corn chex cereal
2 cup(s) rice chex cereal
2 cup(s) wheat chex cereal
1 cup(s) dry roasted peanuts
1 cup(s) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) malted milk powder
2 cup(s) mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cup(s) malted milk balls, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup(s) cherries, dried

Steps:

  • In large bowl, mix cereals & peanuts.
  • In 1 qt microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips & butter on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
  • Gradually stir in malted milk powder until evenly coated. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
