The method that Kathryn uses to melt the chocolate instead of using cocoa powder in this recipe makes for a deliciously fudgy cookie. The outside has a crisp crust and the inside is chewy with chunks of chocolate. These are soooo good!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2. Melt 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate and butter.
- 3. Whisk together flour and baking powder.
- 4. Beat eggs, brown sugar and vanilla on high speed until light and fluffy.
- 5. Reduce speed to low and add melted chocolate.
- 6. Mix in flour until just combined. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
- 7. Drop by heaping tablespoon on parchment lined baking sheets.
- 8. Bake, rotating sheets halfway through, until cookies are shiny and a bit soft in the center, 12 to 15 minutes.
- 9. Cool on baking sheet 10 minutes; transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
