Caramel-Banana French Toast Bake image

Sweeten up your morning with this Caramel-Banana French Toast Bake. Slice up some ciabatta bread, bananas, and pour the caramel mixture on top. Pull it out of the oven once it's golden brown and you're sure to be the star of the breakfast table!

10 ciabatta bread slices (1 inch thick)
2 bananas, divided
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Caramel Flavor Instant Pudding
1 Tbsp. powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F.
  • Spray 8-inch-square baking dish with cooking spray; cover bottom of dish with 5 bread slices, cutting as necessary to fit.
  • Slice 1 banana; arrange over bread slices in dish. Cover with remaining bread slices.
  • Beat eggs, milk and dry pudding mix in medium bowl with whisk 2 min.; pour over bread.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until top is golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 min.
  • Slice remaining banana; arrange over French toast. Sprinkle with sugar.
