BUTTER-NUT-COCOA SNOW BALLS image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup(s) butter
1/2 cup(s) sugar
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
1/4 cup(s) saltcocoa
2 cup(s) pecans, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add salt and cocoa to flour. Blend thoroughly with creamed mixture. Add pecans, and mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes in a 350 degrees oven. do not brown. Cool lightly , and while still warm, roll in powdered sugar, repeating process again. Makes 5 dozen
