Bee Sting Cake image

Found this recipe on a website and was intrigued by the name. So I baked it up and it turned out to be a nice, light, buttery, moist coffee cake type of thing. I didn't have sliced almonds on hand so I used slivered almonds, so if you make this cake, the topping will have a little bit of a different look with the sliced almonds. This cake is a German Cake also called Bienstitch Cake.
