BAVARIAN POT ROAST image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2-3 Pound roast
5-6 yellow onions
1 Tablespoon butter
1/4 Cup white wine OR 1 dark beer
1 or 2 Tablespoons flour
Pinch of sugar
5-6 Ounces horseradish
Salt & Pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Sear roast & remove from pan. Carmelize the onions in the butter, add flour, alcohol, sugar, horseradish & salt/pepper. Put roast back in and simmer 3 hours or longer.
