Steps:
- Prep: Preheat Oven to 400 deg. Open and cut package of bacon in half (2 slices per original slice) Open and drain green beans onto a cutting board. Assembly: Bundle 6-10 green beans together using a slice of bacon as a wrap, skewering with toothpick. Place bundle in 9x13 pan. (repeat this process until you run out of: a) space b) green beans c) bacon.) Finish: Sprinkle Garlic powder over all the bundles (kind of liberally, but not too much) Shake a generous portion (2-3 splashes) of L&P Worcestershire sauce on each bundle Mound a healthy rounded Tbs. of brown sugar on top of each bundle Place 1/4 pad of butter (about 1tsp?) on each bundle. Bake: Bake in 400 degree oven for 50 min. to 1 hour: (Until bacon is done and green beans are slightly shrinking at the edges and the sugar has somewhat caramelized over the bundle) Let cool. These are great served warm and can damage your gums if served hot. (remember, melted sugar!) Astound: Pretend this is something you whipped up as an original dish when you realized you forgot chicken livers for rumaki. Then astound your guests with tidbits about rumaki: "Did you know people believe Trader Vic invented rumaki?" "Oh yes, it happened on a restaurant menu around 1941 .. I think in Florida" (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumaki)
