Asian Inspired Purple Cabbage Slaw image

Had a lot of purple cabbage left over so I came up with this delicious slaw with an Asian dressing

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 head purple cabbage chopped
1 medium carrot julienned
3 scallions diced
2 Tbsp black sesame seeds
DRESSING
1/2 c fish sauce
1/4 c mirin
1 lime juiced
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 c sugar
3 clove garlic minced
1 Tbsp grated ginger
2 Tbsp korean pepper flakes or red pepper flakes

Steps:

  • 1. Mix the ingredients for the dressing together and set aside for the flavors to marry.
  • 2. Mix the slaw ingredients together and toss with the dressing. Serve cold
