Apple-Celery Salad with Yogurt Dressing image

Celery is paired with apple and a simple, lightly sweet yogurt dressing. You can use hazelnuts instead of sunflower seeds for the crunch.

2 tablespoons sunflower seeds, or to taste
1 ¼ cups nonfat plain yogurt
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
½ teaspoon honey, or more to taste
1 bunch celery, chopped
2 tart apples - peeled, cored and chopped

Steps:

  • Add sunflower seeds to a skillet over medium-low heat and toast, shaking skillet frequently, until fragrant and lightly browned in color, 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside.
  • Combine yogurt, honey, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add celery and apples and mix to combine. Sprinkle with sunflower seeds.
