APPLE BROWNIES image

Yield 1 pan

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 stick Margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
3 to 4 medium sized apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon (more)

Steps:

  • Butter 8 x8 Pan. Oven at 350º for 40 minutes. Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Beat egg until light and then beat into mixture until creamy. Mix in apples and chopped nuts. Sift flour and measure. Sift together with Baking Powder, soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir lightly into apple mixture . Pour into buttered pan. Bake @ 350ºF for ~ 1/2 hour. (In 8x8)
