CHEDDAR RANCH DIP
This dip is similar to other bacon and Cheddar dips, but with a cool, creamy kick! Enjoy it with tortilla chips, celery sticks or rice cakes, or use it as a sandwich spread.

- In a medium bowl, thoroughly blend the sour cream and ranch-style dressing mix. Mix in the bacon bits and Cheddar cheese. Chill in the refrigerator 20 minutes or longer before serving.

RANCH DRESSING CHEESE LOG
Steps:
- In a stand mixer, beat together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, buttermilk and dressing mix. Add the Cheddar cheese and continue beating until thoroughly blended. Wrap the mixture in plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for 30 minutes. When firm, shape the wrapped cheese mixture into a log. Spread the pecans out on a baking sheet or a piece of wax paper. Unwrap the cheese log and roll it in the nuts to coat it on all sides. Serve with crackers or bagel chips.
HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH CHEESE BALL
I made this 13 years ago to take to a Thanksgiving dinner and my family has asked for it every year since. Good and easy.

Steps:
- Mix salad dressing mix double strength (using the 1/2 mayonnaise and 1/2 cup milk).
- Blend in cream cheese with mixer.
- Gently stir in cheddar cheese.
- Form into a ball (If too soft place in freezer for a hour).
- Garnish with poppy seeds, parsley, nuts, or your choice of topping.
- Serve with crackers.
