After trying a lot of complicated tuna salad recipes and not liking any of them, I finally created my own. Just the basics. Serve on bread, tortillas, or lettuce.

½ cup light creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip Light®)
3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 stalk celery, diced
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
1 dash Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Combine tuna, salad dressing, chopped eggs, celery, relish, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Mix until well combined.

Yummy and only takes a few minutes! I love lots of relish and the zing miracle whip gives it. You can save plenty of calories by using light miracle whip and more relish for a creamier texture.

1 egg (boiled)
1 tablespoon Miracle Whip light

  • Chop boiled egg into small pieces.

  • Spread on crackers for appetizers or bread for a sandwich.

1 (170 g) can flaked tuna, in water, drained
1/4 cup Miracle Whip light
1/2 teaspoon spicy mustard
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 slices bread
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Mix tuna, miracle whip, mustard, green onion, celery and spices.
  • Let stand 5 minutes.
  • Spread tuna mixture on 2 slices of bread, top with 1/4 cup of cheese each.
  • Bake for 5 minutes, turn oven to broil and melt the cheese.

2 cans (6 ounces each) tuna, drained and flaked
1 hard-boiled large egg, chopped
3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1 teaspoon sweet pickle relish
4 submarine sandwich or hoagie buns
4 lettuce leaves
4 slices cheddar cheese
8 wooden skewers
Goldfish cheddar crackers

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the tuna, egg, celery and onion. Stir in the Miracle Whip and pickle relish; set aside. Make a 2-in. wide V-shaped cut in the center of each bun to within an inch of the bottom. Remove cut portion and save for another use. Line each bun with a lettuce leaf and fill with tuna mixture., Cut cheese slices in half diagonally. For sails, carefully insert a wooden skewer into the top center of each cheese triangle. Bend cheese slightly; push skewer through bottom center of cheese. Insert two skewers into each sandwich. Place on a serving plate. Sprinkle fish crackers around boats.
