These Memphis BBQ Chicken Wings have an easy homemade Memphis barbecue sauce made in minutes. Crispy baked wings in a smoky, bold, sticky sweet BBQ sauce.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl toss the chicken wings with the vegetable oil, salt and pepper then line up on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake until wings are crispy and browned for 40-45 minutes.
- Remove the cooked wings and add them to a large bowl and toss them with the Memphis Barbecue Sauce, then bake them for an additional 5 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Arrange wings in a baking pan.
- Mix barbeque sauce and syrup together in a bowl; pour evenly over wings.
- Bake in the preheated oven, flipping every 15 to 20 minutes, for 1 hour. Turn on oven's broiler and broil wings until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Bend the wings and tuck the tips under the large joint to form a triangle.
- Season the chicken wings on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Set wings in a single layer in a large roasting or baking pan. Use two pans if you have to.
- Bake the chicken wings, turning once, until browned, about 45 minutes.
- Remove the wings from the oven.
- Pour off all the fat from the pan. If necessary, blot the wings with paper towels.
- Return the wings to the pan.
- Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken wings and return to the oven.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Turn the wings over and bake 10 minutes longer.
- Serve hot, at room temperature, or cold.
