MEATZA PIE
This is my SIL's recipe and was a great favorite of her two children. As little tots my niece and nephew came out here to Arizona to visit and brought this recipe with them "so they wouldn't feel so homesick!"

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Place meat, milk, crumbs, and garlic salt in a 9-inch pie plate; mix thoroughly with a fork. Pat evenly onto bottom and up sides of pie plate; rim with fingers, pressing firmly into place.
- Spread tomato paste over meat mixture. Arrange drained mushrooms over top of tomato paste. Add Cheddar cheese, oregano, Parmesan cheese, and onion in layers. Top with sliced olives, if used.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until meat is done and cheese is lightly browned.

Steps:
- 1. Soak bread in milk. After milk is absorbed, mix with the ground beef. Add the garlic salt and mix well. Spread ground beef mixture on a pizza pan with edges.
- 2. Top with catsup and spread like pizza sauce to cover ground beef mixture. Next put mushrooms on all over the meatza pie.
- 3. Cut cheese in rectangles, 3-4 per slice and put on meatza pie to cover. Top the cheese with parmasean cheese. Sprinkle oregano over top of all. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve in wedges. (May need to drain grease before serving.)

- Mix first 4 ingredients and mold into a pie pan. Add next 5 ingredients, one at a time, to pie pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Can be frozen.

- 1. Mix first 4 ingredients 2. Pat mixture evenly in bottom and up sides of a 9 inch pie plate. 3. Spread tomato paste over meat. 4. Drain mushroom and arrange evenly in bottom of pie pan. 5. Sprinkle velveeta over mushrooms, then oregano over cheese. 6. Shake Parmesan cheese on last. 7. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until meat is done. 8. Enjoy! This is best with mashed potatoes!
