2 c carbquick baking mix
2/3 c water
1 lb breakfast sausage
4-6 Tbsp carbquick baking mix
1 1/2 c half and half
salt and pepper, to taste
baking spray

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. In a bowl, add the dry ingredients and then start adding the water mixing as you go. Now keep mixing to bring the dough together. It should be a little sticky, but smooth and all the water is absorbed.
  • 3. With a pair of spoons, drop chunks of dough on to a sheet pan sprayed with baking spray and place in oven for 10-12 minutes
  • 4. In large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook and crumble sausage to lightly brown, removing fat from pan as it accumulates.
  • 5. Sprinkle Carbquik over sausage in skillet, stir to blend, add half & half to pan all at once. Cook, stirring constantly over medium-high heat until thickened and bubbly.
  • 6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 7. Serve over hot baked Carbquik® biscuits.

1 pound sausage
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 cup water
1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
4 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Make low carb cheddar biscuits and set aside. In a medium saucepan cook sausage in two tablespoons of butter until the meat is no longer pink. Break up the sausage into the size of pieces you prefer while cooking. Once meat is cooked, drain fat if there is more that a couple of tablespoons left in the pan. Add cream and water and simmer for about 12 minutes. Remove one tablespoon of the sauce and place it in a small bowl to cool. Once cool, whisk in the arrowroot, then return to the skillet whisking in the sausage mix. Bring to medium-high heat and once the sauce thickens and begins to bubble, remove from heat. Add remaining two tablespoons of butter and stir until incorporated in the sauce. Place the biscuits in a baking pan. Pour sausage gravy over the biscuits. Place in the oven at 350 degrees and cook for 10 minutes or until the biscuits are heated. Serve right away.

1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-3/4 cups 2% milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, whisk together milk and butter; stir into dry ingredients just until blended. 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 cup Butter (melted )
4 Eggs
1 tbsp Cream Cheese
1/4 tsp Salt
1 pound Breakfast Sausage
3 tbsp Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1/3 cup Broth (Chicken or Beef )

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Mix together dry ingredients with melted butter and cream cheese.
  • Add eggs and continue to mix until everything is well combined. (Let the batter sit for 2-3 minutes. It will continue to thicken).
  • Scoop batter onto a prepared baking sheet (I used an ice cream scoop). Bake for approximately 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • In a skillet, begin to cook sausage until crumbled and mostly cooked through.
