This is a splenda recipe from my splenda but thought it's great for KIDS

1 1/4 qt cold water
2 c light white grape juice (chilled)
1 c splenda
1 envelope your favor unsweetned kool-aid
2 c seltzer water (chilled)
2 c no sugar added light vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • 1. Combine wate, grape juice, splenda and kool-aid in a pitcher, stirring until splenda dissolves.
  • 2. Pour 3/4 cup of mixture into a tall glass, add 1/4 cup of the seltzer water. Then top with ice cream. serve immediately. recipe states that you should be able to use 8 tall glasses.

Move over, root beer-the KOOL-AID Float is the new favorite ice cream beverage! Use a different KOOL-AID flavor every time you make this classic summertime treat. You can substitute club soda for the seltzer in your KOOL-AID Float.

Yield Makes about 2-1/2 qt. or 8 servings, about 1-1/4 cups each.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup granular no-calorie sweetener
1 env. KOOL-AID Cherry Flavor Unsweetened Drink Mix, or any other flavor
1 qt. (4 cups) cold water
2 cups cold light white grape juice cocktail
2 cups cold seltzer
1 pt. (2 cups) no-sugar-added light vanilla ice cream

Steps:

  • Place granulated sweetener and drink mix in large plastic or glass pitcher. Add water; stir until drink mix is dissolved.
  • Stir in juice cocktail. Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Pour 3/4 cup of the prepared drink into each of eight tall glasses. Add 1/4 cup seltzer to each glass, then top with 1/4 cup of the ice cream. Serve immediately. Store leftover prepared drink in refrigerator.
