A cheesy, hearty dip made with only 4 ingredients-this Savory Hamburger dip is always a hit at parties.

1 lb ground beef (seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic)
1 jar medium chunky pace salsa
1-2 cans rotel tomatoes with green chiles
1 small block velveeta cheese

Steps:

  • Cook and season beef, drain and keep in pan.
  • Pour salsa in a blender and mix until smooth (this is an optional step, skip if you like the chunks)
  • Put salsa, Rotel and Velveeta cheese in the skillet and stir until incorporated, melted and heated through. Serve immediately or place in warm crock pot for any function.

My Mom used to make this dip sometimes for her bridge club on Saturday nights. I would love eating the leftovers on Sunday :-) It may not look too appetizing, but trust me, it tastes great!! This dip was created before crock pots and microwaves were popular (just the good ol' stove and oven)

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 c onion,chopped
8 oz tomato sauce
1/4 c ketchup
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese
1 clove minced garlic
1 tsp oregano, dried
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Saute beef until browned. Drain drippings. Add onion and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and stir over low heat until the cheese melts. Keep warm and serve with corn chips or other chips. (remember, it may not look too appetizing, but trust me, it tastes delicious)

1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
¼ cup water
1 (2 pound) loaf processed cheese food (such as Velveeta®), cut into cubes
2 (8 ounce) cans chopped green chilies
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon diced jalapeno peppers

Steps:

  • Cook and stir hamburger and onion together in a skillet over medium heat until the hamburger is completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle taco seasoning over the hamburger mixture. Pour water over the hamburger mixture; bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Put cheese cubes into the crock of your slow cooker; add the hamburger mixture, green chiles, tomato sauce, and jalapeno peppers.
  • Cook on Low, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted and smooth, about 45 minutes.

I also serve it with raw veggies as an appetizer or on crusty bread with a salad for a light meal. 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 package (2-1/2 ounces) thinly sliced dried beef, finely chopped
