I whipped this up as I had a few pears and a few apples to use up before they went bad. I didn't add any egg or butter and it came out great. Everyone loved it, I hope you do too!

2 cups flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup pecans, Chopped
1 cup milk
3 medium apples, Peeled, Cored and Chopped
3 medium pears, Peeled Cored and Chopped
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons powdered sugar, for dusting

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350.
  • Spray 9 x 13 Glass Baking Dish with Pam.
  • Put first 6 ingredients in a large bowl and use a whisk to mix together.
  • Add milk and mix.
  • Stir in Pecans, Apples and Pears.
  • Pour into prepared 9 x 13 Baking Dish and spread out evenly.
  • Using your fingers sprinkle Brown Sugar on top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Test with toothpick to see if it is done.
  • Let it cool for 15 minutes and then dust with powdered sugar.
  • Enjoy.

1 1/2 cups apples, peeled, cored and diced (Golden Delicious, McIntosh, Granny Smith, or your favorite)
1 1/2 cups pears, peeled, cored and diced
1 cup raisins
2 cups white sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon clove
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9" or 10" bundt pan with oil or butter.
  • Sprinkle diced apples, pears and raisins with the sugar, set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs; add the oil, vanilla and pecans.
  • Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture, mix well. Add the apples, pears and raisins.
  • Spread batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  • Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly touched. Cool in pan for 10 minutes; turn out onto a wire rack and let cake fininsh cooling. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. (Tip: If you want to frost your cake, a sour cream frosting is very nice.).

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup oil
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 cups raw diced apples or 4 cups pears
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 lb butter

Steps:

  • Cake:.
  • Mix all cake ingredients by hand in order given.
  • Pour in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan or springform pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and remove.
  • Topping:.
  • In saucepan mix all ingredients and bring to a slow boil for 3 minutes.
  • Pour over cake and return to oven for 4 minutes.

2 cups shredded peeled tart apples
2 cups shredded peeled pears
2 cups sugar
1-1/4 cups canola oil
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Combine dry ingredients; stir into the fruit mixture. , Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. 1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 cup chopped peeled pear
TOPPING:
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
