8 slices wheat or white bread
8 slices precooked bacon
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
4 (3/4-oz.) slices mild Cheddar or American cheese
1 to 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

Steps:

  • Top 4 of the bread slices with bacon, tomato and cheese. Cover with remaining bread slices. Spread outside of sandwiches with margarine.
  • Heat 12-inch nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat until hot. Place sandwiches, 2 at a time if necessary, in skillet; cook 4 to 6 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.

16 Eggo® Minis Homestyle frozen waffles
3 ounces Cheddar cheese (4 slices), cut into quarters
2 ounces Canadian bacon (4 thin slices), cut into quarters
8 slices thin Italian plum tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves

Steps:

  • 1. Separate Kellogg's Eggo Mini Homestyle waffles. Top 8 of the waffles with half of the cheese. Top each with 2 pieces of Canadian bacon and 1 tomato slice. Lightly sprinkle with basil.2. Arrange remaining cheese on top of tomatoes. Top with remaining waffles. Preheat contact grill for 5 minutes. Cook sandwiches in gril for 2 minutes or until cheese melts.**NOTE: To cook sandwiches in skillet, lightly coat large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium heat. Add sandwiches. Cook, covered, for 3 minutes or until cheese melts, turning once.
