This summery, berry-blasted Margarita recipe combines mixed berries with mint, citrus, triple sec, and tequila.

6 limes, (juiced)
1 cup blanco tequila
⅓ cup triple sec or cointreau
4 cups mixed frozen berries
1 cup crushed ice
⅓ cup roughly chopped fresh mint leaves
2 tablespoons agave nectar, (use only if you like a sweeter drink, you can also use honey)
Lime wedges, (for rims)
Sugar or salt, (for rims)

Steps:

  • In a blender combine lime juice, tequila, triple sec, berries, ice, mint, and agave nectar (if using); process until completely blended. Add more liquid, if needed. If you want a thicker margarita, add more ice and process until blended.
  • Taste and adjust. Add more sweetener, if needed.
  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of 4 margarita glasses. Dip the rim in salt or sugar.
  • Pour frozen berry margarita into glasses.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and slices of lime.
  • Serve.

Coarse sugar, optional
1-1/2 ounces blanco tequila
1 ounce Triple Sec
1/2 ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice
1 cup frozen unsweetened blueberries
4 fresh mint leaves
Fresh blueberries, optional

Steps:

  • Moisten rim of 1 cocktail glass with lime wedge. If desired, sprinkle sugar on a plate; dip rim in sugar. , In a blender, combine tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, blueberries and mint. Puree until smooth. Pour into prepared glasses. Garnish with lime wedges, blueberries and additional mint sprigs if desired.

3 cups green seedless grapes
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
1/4 cup superfine sugar
2 750-ml bottles dry white wine (preferably pinot grigio), chilled
1 cup white grape juice, chilled
1/2 cup vodka

Steps:

  • Put the green grapes in the freezer about 2 hours before you want to serve your sangria.
  • Combine the chopped apple, lemon slices, halved red grapes, sugar, wine, white grape juice and vodka in a large glass pitcher filled with ice. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the frozen green grapes to glasses and fill with the sangria.

3 fluid ounces bottled margarita mix
2 fluid ounces tequila
1 fluid ounce mint syrup
2 fluid ounces bourbon whiskey

Steps:

  • Bring water and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan. Cook until dissolved, about 1 minute. Turn off heat and add mint sprigs. Steep for 3 minutes as mint syrup cools. Remove and discard mint.
  • Combine ice, margarita mix, tequila, 1 ounce mint syrup, and bourbon in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses.
