1 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs (well beaten)
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sweet milk
1 teaspoon rum flavoring
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 1/2 teaspoons coconut flavoring

Steps:

  • Cream butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add beaten eggs.
  • Sift flour and baking powder and add to cream mixture alternating with milk.
  • Stir in flavors.
  • Spoon into a well greased pan.
  • Bake at 350 for about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.

my mom made a cake similar to this cake years ago and i lost the recipe. when i found this recipe, it taste so much like the cake my mom made. it is so moist and everyone loves it.

1 box(es) cake mix, butter flavor
4 large eggs
1/2 cup(s) sugar
3/4 cup(s) oil
8 ounce(s) sour cream
1 teaspoon(s) coconut extract
1 teaspoon(s) almond extract
1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon extract

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together except the flavorings. Mix well and then add the flavorings. Spray a bundt or tube pan with pam. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Let cool before transfering to a plate.
