- 1. Place all ingredients into the machine bread pan in the order listed.
- 2. Close lid and start machine. According to your machine instructions and time. My machine is a OASTER BREAD & DOUGH MAKER.
- 3. When done remove bread to a rack to cool off.
- 4. When cool enough to handle, slice and enjoy! This is 1-1/2 pound loaf

Steps:
- Place all ingredients into your bread maker according to manufacture.
- Select type to a light crust.
- Press start.
- Remembering to check while starting to knead.
- If mixture is too dry add a tablespoon warm water at a time.
- If mixture is too wet add flour again a little at a time.
- Mixture should go into a ball form, and just soft and slightly sticky to the finger touch.
- This goes for all types of breads when kneading.
- This recipe makes a one and half pound loaf size.
IRON MIKE'S DARK RYE BREAD (BREAD MACHINE)
This makes a hearty, full flavored, wonderfully textured 1 1/2 lb. Dark Rye Bread. I had a hard time finding a Rye Bread recipe dark enough, so I combined 5 or 6 different ideas from lots of recipes to get my desired "strength" of Rye. There are a TON of ingredients, I know...but it's worth the effort. Enjoy!
